The Gippsland East Youth Mentoring Program is about engaging young people at the primary and secondary school level who are at risk of leaving school early. We provide mentors on a one on one basis who will became a friend to a young person to help them with career choices, further education and to enjoy other fun activities like crafts, sports and life experiences. Once a friendship is formed the student and mentor can continue to work together to negotiate and overcome life’s challenges.
