Monitoring and Evaluation

The aim of this course is: To take you through a simple step by step approach to monitoring and evaluation which means you will be clear on what you need to monitor and the methods that will enable you to capture this information most effectively.  This will help you meet the requirements of elements 1, 3, and 9 of the National Benchmarks

This course will help you to:

  • Approach your monitoring and evaluation in a structured way and recognise the benefits of a planned approach
  • Define what your project aims are and the specific outcomes you want to achieve for your service users
  • Determine the indicators which will help to show you if the outcomes are being achieved
  • Choose from a range of established methods to capture this information

Who should attend? Mentoring co-ordinators or managers with little or no experience of monitoring and evaluating and those who are looking to establish or review a mentoring service. It is also relevant to projects working towards meeting the National Benchmarks.
