Thriving Youth Australia is a positive youth development community offering training, approaches and programs to respond to current issues effecting young people, parents, teachers and communities.

Cyber Champions is about helping students navigate cyber world to know the protocol and tips to enjoy social media in safety. This is achieve by workshops with junior students in schools and training for cyber champions who have mentors online.

Training Process of Mentors One day face to face training program has been developed which can be run in 6 modules. Then online and phone support is offered.
Mentor Screening: Yes, screening is provided for mentors
Screening Process of Mentors: Mentor screening and selection is done in conjunction with the school which includes a WWCC and the rest of the team are professional counselors, social workers and youth workers who all have for their profession WWCC.
Mentor Position Description: To be an online support peer to peer (senior student to junior students) and cyber champions to also receive online support. There is also a FACEBOOK group for support and advice for young people, parents, guardians and caring adults or community groups
Mentor Minimum Commitment: 6 months but preferably 11 months.
